Word 365 – Create charts and diagrams

Overview

In this eight-part course, learners will discover the graphical features available in Word for Office 365 to create charts and flowcharts. You’ll learn how to create custom diagrams and flowcharts using Word’s default shapes and diagrams, and how to freely draw a custom shape. Then you will learn how to create, format and edit custom shapes. You’ll learn how to arrange items on a page manually or align multiple items at once. Next, the course will show you how to use the selection panel to organize items in a document and how to hide or show certain objects. Then you will discover how to use drawing canvases to group several elements or shapes and how the canvas can be modified in the same way as a single element. The course will show how the SmartArt feature can be used to add professional graphics to documents. You’ll learn how to customize shapes and how to create a chart that displays names, professional positions, and images. At the end, you will learn how to change the position, colors and styles of the graphics.
