Customize the behavior and appearance of Word 2010

Overview

Word 2010 lets you efficiently create attractive, organized documents using a variety of automated and pre-built features. You can quickly and easily use any of the Word 2010 styles to give your document a chiseled look, or you can create your own styles so that you can use a custom look each time. In addition, Word 2010 lets you create documents using pre-embedded templates that are linked to Word, saving you time and effort in choosing a layout and color scheme for your files.

This course introduces you to the Quick Styles feature and templates and explores the editing feature – AutoCorrect – which automatically corrects common errors, such as capitalization for the first letter of a sentence or accidental use of the Caps key Lock. The course also demonstrates how you can customize the ribbon.
