The basics of anger management

Overview

Anger is a normal and even beneficial emotion, originating in our survival instinct. However, if not properly managed, our feelings and emotions can be very destructive. It is important to find beneficial ways to control and express your anger. This requires emotional intelligence (EI) and a high emotional coefficient (EQ) or emotional intelligence coefficient (EIQ). In this course, you will explore how to manage your anger and your reactions to anger. You will also learn about the nature of anger, including its root causes, and how to use it positively in the workplace, and learn how to develop empathy for colleagues that causes those feelings of anger.
