GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). The purpose of PPAP is that:

• all records related to the technological design and requirements of the customer’s specifications are correctly understood.

• the manufacturing process has the capability to manufacture the product, which constantly meets all the requirements during the performance of an actual production and at the required volume.

OBJEECTIVES

At the end of this PPAP course, participants will be able to:

• Understand what PPAP is, why and when it should be used

• Understand how to prepare and complete the PPAP documentation

• Understands the customer-specific requirements for PPAP approval

• Understand how to integrate PPAP approval into APQP
