Measurement System Analysis

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This course includes e-Learning with audio description (EN)+ 1/2 day  discussion with trainer (RO/EN)

The goal of MSA is to better understand the sources of variations that can influence the results produced by the system, so that we can quantify and communicate the specific limitations of that measurement system.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this MSA course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the measurement process, its elements and the sources of variation that influence the measurement result

• Understand the variability of measurement systems in relation to process variability

• Understand  type of measurement systems studies, including: bias, linearity, repeatability and reproducibility (Gauge R&R)

• Identify ways to improve measurement systems

PREREQUISITE

• Basic knowledge of statistical variation

• Experience in using basic measurement concepts and an understanding of the sources of variation in measurement systems
