Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). APQP is a structured way of defining and establishing the steps needed to ensure that the part satisfies the customer. It is required for all new parts.

Objectives

At the end of this APQP course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the working methodology of APQP (type of project management) and how it allows organizations to supply products / services within the model – Quality, Costs, Deadlines – agreed
• Understands the main phases and elements of APQP
• Reliably apply APQP phases and elements when introducing new products and services

  • Product and process validation – Packaging evaluation; Significant production run;Production control plan; preliminary process capability study; Production validation testing; Part Submission Warrant (PSW)
  • Feedback, assessment and corrective action – Reduced variation; Customer satisfaction; Lessons learned
