Overview
There are a number of methods for accessing and using external data using Excel 2010. By creating new data connections or using existing data, you can access data from the Internet, from Access and SQL Server databases, and from analyze. You can also import and export XML data, use Microsoft Query and the Query Wizard to create your own query and work on text files.
This course explores the concept of data connection, including how to use existing connections to access data and how to create your own connections. In addition, this course covers how to create a web query to access data online and use it in Excel. The import of XML data is covered, and the course also describes how to use the query wizard to create and edit queries.
