Using conditional formatting, sparkline tables and charts in Excel 2010

Overview

Excel 2010 provides tools to help you present your data efficiently and make your data easier to understand. Tables can be used to present data logically in an easy-to-read way, and table styles provide a way to make your workbooks more attractive and professional. Conditional formatting allows you to highlight trends and exceptions in cells or cell ranges, presenting the identified data in a number of unique ways to make them stand out. Sparkline charts, a new feature in Excel 2010, are small charts inside a cell that provide a visual representation of the data and can be used to present trends in an attractive way.
