Overview

Many organizations have discovered the benefits of using cross-functional teams, as the diversity of skills, perspectives and experience helps them to achieve their goals. Although the diversity inherent in these teams can be challenging, the successful management of the teams makes the effort worthwhile. In this course, you will learn about the benefits of cross-functional teams. You will also find out what the various stages of cross-functional team development are and the risks involved in each stage. Finally, you will learn what team leadership skills and competencies a cross-functional team leader should have, and good teamwork practices.
