Overview
Interpersonal communication is a two-way street. The “transmitter” has its share of responsibility for ensuring that that communication conveys the correct intent and message. But no one likes to talk on the walls, so in many ways, the response from the recipient of the communication is just as important as the message. When you are at the receiving end of a communication, whether or not it has been planned or executed correctly, you should try to be receptive and understand the intent. This involves two essential skills that almost everyone considers challenging: listening and questioning. In this course you will work on sharpening your skills – as well as introducing yourself to the right mental state of receptivity to communication.
