Overview
Few tasks make managers feel as uncomfortable as performing performance appraisals – especially when an employee has a performance issue. But that doesn’t have to be the case. Difficult conversations, even dismissals, can often be avoided by planning effectively in setting goals, competencies, and performance requirements. Evaluations provide assistance in managing performance, as it encourages employees to do their job well because it addresses responsibilities with the highest priorities and works in a way that is satisfactory to the organization. Managing the performance of top performers, which are especially valuable to the organization, requires their encouragement and involvement so that they do not resign and look for interesting challenges elsewhere.
In this course, you will learn about developing an employee performance plan and continuously monitoring your performance so that there are no unpleasant surprises during your performance appraisal.
