Overview
The instructor relationship is different from other work relationships you may have encountered in your career. An instructor is a special position that is not as prescriptive as a manager or as instructive as a mentor; an instructor is focused on guiding the trained person through their own discovery and development process. There are five phases of the training, and this course will cover the first three: involvement, discovery and development of the action plan. In these stages, the training relationship and its goals are created, setting the background for the rest of the training process.
