Overview
There are many parts of the brain that have not changed much since the time of our oldest ancestors. We are still programmed to respond automatically when we are afraid, we are threatened, disgusted, surprised or happy. However, we have made great strides in developing and understanding nonverbal communication mechanisms. In this course, you will learn how our attitude and tone, as well as body language such as posture, gestures, and facial expressions, can have a significant impact on how we communicate. You will explore techniques to help you design a positive attitude and presence. You will also learn how to read other people’s body language.
