Overview
Team cohesion, or the strength of team bonds, determines how effective teams will be, especially in responding to outside pressures. A team must be united if its members are to function as a single unit, working closely and efficiently to achieve common goals. In this course, you will learn methods of building and managing teams effectively, focusing on three areas: communication, cooperation, and trust. You will learn specific strategies to improve communication and promote collaboration among staff members working in a team. You will also learn what signs suggest a lack of trust in a team and how you can demonstrate that you have the qualities of a team leader using the right techniques to build trust and improve teamwork.
