Overview
Micro-behaviors are a major issue. Dr. Alvin Poussaint described the cumulative impact of micro-aggression as “death by a thousand cuts.” Subtle, often unconscious, actions that go unaddressed affect employees. These subtle forms of prejudice and discrimination often frustrate people and lead to low productivity. In this course, you will learn to recognize the characteristics of different types of micro-behaviors and how to decipher the messages they convey. You will also learn how to identify when and how to act to address micro-aggression and how to use micro-inclusions as an antidote to micro-aggression.
