Overview
In this six-part course, students will learn the basics of PowerPoint, the presentation application included in the Microsoft Office 365 suite. The course begins with a description of the location and opening of the application. Then you’ll look at the Office ribbon, the access point for many features and tools. You’ll learn how to use the title bar and the PowerPoint status bar. The course demonstrates several ways you can navigate between slides in a presentation, how to use the slide panel to access the slide browser to select a slide, and how to use the vertical scroll bar to navigate. between slides. The course continues with presentations of the basic functions for personalizing slides and presentations, including activating the Rule and Grid Lines functions to align and adjust your content. Learn how to change the View mode to include notes, a presentation sketch, and the order of your slides. You will also learn how to use the Zoom function to view certain elements in a slide closer. At the end, students will learn how to work on multiple presentations simultaneously.
