Managing change and conflict in projects Of all the types of skills and competencies that a project manager uses when managing projects, social skills are the most important. The ability to communicate effectively with team members and negotiate between different requests allows the project manager to manage conflicts within the project. Effective conflict resolution maintains the positivity of stakeholders and can mean the difference between the success and failure of a project. In this course, you will learn about managing change and conflict. You will learn how to react when someone asks for changes in the project, how to create a communication plan with stakeholders and approaches to managing conflicts when they arise.
