Workplace organization – Work and personal and professional development at home

Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic made us feel that life had become unsafe and that the situation would not return to normal. Now that the schools have reopened, we seem to have a new beginning. Although we seem to be in different situations, we all learn on the go and adapt. Regardless of jobs or titles, we remain parents, grandparents, or caregivers, and we try to figure out how to deal with these things on a daily basis. Our children also face the same changes that affect us: a new work space, socialization kept strictly in the family, less intimacy, the feeling that they live the same day indefinitely, even bigger worries and anxiety. In this course, the members of the Skillsoft family share their experience, strength and hope, while we all try to strike a balance between work and home life, protecting our families and making them happy, but also learning and moving forward together.

Objectives

• to discover a way to change the mentality, as well as to create an ideal atmosphere to work and learn in favorable conditions

• to discover a way to organize time and space, as well as to set expectations, without anyone feeling pressured

• to discover best practices for promoting and sustaining work and learning goals productively
